Vehicle Collision Kills One, Injures Three in Japan

(MENAFN) A tragic traffic accident in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, claimed one life and left three others injured on Tuesday, according to police and fire authorities.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on a national highway in Tateyama City, where a truck struck four passenger cars and a motorcycle, involving six vehicles in total.

Emergency responders discovered four injured individuals at the site. A man in his 50s was found unconscious and later pronounced dead after being transported to hospital. Among the three others hurt, one remains in critical condition.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
